Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Fitbug app (“Fitbug”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Use of the app
Fitbug is a personal gym tracking tool that lets you log exercises, weight, reps, and sets, view progress graphs, see an estimated 1 rep max, and track calories burned. You may use Fitbug only for lawful, personal purposes and in accordance with these terms.
Your data
All workout data you enter is stored locally on your own device. You are responsible for your device and for backing up your data using the export feature in Settings if you want to keep a copy or move it to a new device. We are not able to recover your data if it is lost, for example if the app is uninstalled or your device is reset without exporting first.
Health disclaimer
Fitbug is intended for general fitness tracking only and does not provide medical advice. Estimated 1 rep max and calories burned figures are approximations based on standard formulas and the information you provide, and may not be fully accurate. Consult a qualified professional before starting any new exercise program, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort while training.
Intellectual property
The Fitbug name, logo, and app design are the property of Fitbug and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
Fitbug is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fitbug and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or any injury sustained while exercising.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
